One of ASL Activation’s long-standing clients The Theraplate UK Liverpool International Horse Show (Bolesworth Events) had huge hurdles to overcome following a heartbreaking fire in the car park next to the M&S Bank Arena Liverpool (formerly the Echo Arena). For 2018, ASL was briefed to create and produce the show and entertainment aspects which would be the Closing Ceremony of Liverpool 2018, an event that marked the culmination of an extraordinary 12 months a decade on from its year as ‘European Capital of Culture.’
With the show running from 28th to 31st December, ASL was responsible for the installation, management and safety before, during and after the event. With firework-filled podiums, Freestyle Motocross, live bands and world-class equestrian action ASL had to go above and beyond to create the memorable spectacular for the 30,000+ fans that attended.
Alongside the production, ASL was behind the content creation throughout the show, which included sponsorship specific content. Working closely with Bolesworth Event’s Marketing Team incredible photos and videos were captured and distributed onto LIHS socials by ASL.
Now in its fourth year at The Echo Arena on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront, the show gets better and better with its electric, turbo-charged atmosphere that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat!
As well as world-class show jumping, spell-binging dressage, the popular Shetland Pony Grand National there was live music from Rick Parfitt Junior as well as shows from Giles Fortier and The Arenacross UK FMX Team.
